Donating for parties or teacher hospitality? Membership funds pay for parties but sometimes we need some extra funding to host great parties for 450 of our little friends! If you’re donating for a Teacher Hospitality request, then rest assured we are gearing up to spoil our teachers to the moon and back!
Frequently Asked Questions
How often do we have fundraisers?
We host ONE fundraiser per year and then we may have additional asks by sign up genius, etc to fill in the gaps on parties or teacher hospitality – but we do limit additional asks outside of our fundraiser.
How much did our last fundraiser raise?
Our last annual “More Funds Raiser” was held in October 2024 and raised $44,140. In the last six years, our fundraisers (not including memberships) have raised nearly $200,000 – all of those funds have stayed at Horizon.
When do we have parties?
Parties are held twice a year in spring and in fall. We send volunteer and attendance slots out to PTO Members ONLY. You must be a member to receive the sign up list for PTO events and parties.
Can I join the Board?
Absolutely! We are always looking for more hands on deck to make our PTO thrive! Contact Melissa Lallo Johnson melissa.m.lallo@gmail.com to learn more! Elections are held every April.
We make meetings simple!
We make it simple with a limited amount of virtual meetings per year, log in and listen on audio or video, it’s up to you!
