Horizon Elementary PTO supports the shared goals of parents, teachers and administrators to provide the highest quality education for our children. Our goals are to support our kids with classroom resources and books they use to learn and grow in the best way possible while supporting our teachers both financially and emotionally as they help educate our kids.

Your PTO Membership primarily supports our two parties every year additional funds support many great programs offered to our STUDENTS including:

  • Fall Festival
  • Valentine’s Day Party
  • Field Day
  • Hospitality Efforts

Your PTO Membership supports many great programs offered to our TEACHERS, STAFF & ADMINISTRATION including:

  • Fundraisers geared toward providing items they would otherwise have to purchase on their own to teach our kids.
  • Hospitality at its finest! WE TAKE CARE OF OUR TEACHERS and it shows. Check our Facebook page to see all of the  special moments we provided last school year
  • Stock The Lounge – where we invite families and businesses to stock the lounge with drinks and snacks for some of the hardest working people in Smithville!
  • Teacher Wish List promotions to help further provide items teachers need and also give practical ideas for holiday gifts, birthdays, etc.

Over the last six years, your PTO has raised nearly $200,000 and 100% of those funds stayed at Horizon Elementary from the PTO.
